People who had not renewed their membership or who are not British Tennis members were not eligible.
The Club has been allocated 34 tickets (17 pairs) for
this year’s Wimbledon Championships. The Club has been allocated these tickets
based upon the number of Club members who have signed up to free British Tennis
Membership by the 30th November 2008.
All
Club members who are current British Tennis Adult and Junior members (9 and
over) at the time of the running of the ballot are eligible for inclusion in the
Club Ballot. Any winner of a pair of tickets in the Club
Ballot must use the tickets for themselves with a guest. The guest does not have
to be a British Tennis Member. Any winner of a pair of tickets in the Club
Ballot who is under the age of 16 must have permission from a parent/guardian in
order to purchase the tickets and be accompanied by an adult when he/she attends
The Championships.
Putting your name down commits you to paying for the
ticket if you are successful in the ballot, and the payment is due when you
receive the ticket. Tickets will be
reallocated if payment is not received before the start of The
Championships. The club has to return the names of those club members using
the tickets to the LTA. The tickets are strictly non-transferable and must
not be sold or advertised for sale or transferred to other persons who are not
members of the Club. Failure to observe these conditions will result in the
complete ban of tickets being supplied to our Club for several years. You will
be asked to sign a form confirming that you will abide by the conditions of sale
and distribution of tickets.
